Speedpanel - Company Information
Speedpanel was introduced into the Australian market early in 2000 and has grown steadily in the marketplace ever since, with many key building companies in Australia now recognizing the benefits of Speedpanel and using it in selected building projects. Light-weight, ease of construction, together with its speed of installation has seen broad acceptance of the Speedpanel system throughout the
building industry.
Speedpanel has been associated with many Green Star projects such as Council House 2 (CH2) in Melbourne, the Melbourne Convention Centre, Melbourne University Commerce Building and the Fairfax Media House (Melbourne) as well as being considered for several interstate projects.
Speedpanel is shipped around Australia, with the economics of construction time savings outweighing
the transport costs, and has been used in Far North Queensland, Darwin by Hindmarsh Builders, and also the mining industry in Western Australia. Industrial builders and shed companies throughout the eastern states have also realised the value of Speedpanel for fire rated boundary and separation walls.
Speedpanel has a manufacturing facility under license in New Zealand, and recently a new license has been taken up in Great Britain. There are also several other countries in various stages of license negotiations.
Future products such as the 64mm and the 51mm thick panels will soon be released onto the market.
