Applications of the Speedpanel Product
Speedpanel has been successfully installed in several high-profile, large-scale constructions in Australia and New Zealand. In each case, the Speedpanel team have worked with the project architects, developers and construction professionals to achieve positive results.

Eureka Tower

Eureka Tower is one of the world's tallest apartment buildings with a height of 300 metres and containing 3,680 stairs. Speedpanel has been installed to protect the main fire escape staircase.   Located in Melbourne, the tower reaches 88 stories and weighs 200,000 tonnes. The builder for this project was Grocon Constructions.

MCG Redevelopment

Speedpanel technology was applied to solve a number of challenges on the MCG project. Grocon used Speedpanel for plant rooms, dividing walls and grandstand end infills.   Speedpanel was chosen because of its structural and acoustic capabilities.

Hisense Arena

Theiss Builders used Speedpanel at the front and rear of Hisense arena as an internal and external soundproof wall.   Hisense Arena, formerly known as Vodafone Arena, is best known as a major showcourt for the Australian Open Tennis held January each year in Melbourne. The arena has a holding capacity of 10,000 people.

Commonwealth Bank

A temporary Speedpanel wall was erected for 6 months. Due to Speedpanels excellent acoustic properties, the branch was able to remain open while renovations were being undertaken.   The wall height for this project was over 6 metres.

Berkeley Cinema Project, New Zealand

This project involved Speedpanel New Zealand. Botany Town Centre shopping complex in Auckland has been extended to incorporate a multi-cinema complex.   Speedpanel was selected for this project due to its acoustic and fire shielding capabilities.
